The JEE Advanced 2020 examination is soon to be conducted and knowing about the eligibility criteria is really important. To appear in the JEE Advanced 2020 Examination, the minimum % of marks the general and OBC candidates require in their 12th or equivalent exam is 75%. Whereas, candidates belonging to the SC, ST & PwD is 65%. To be eligible to sit for the JEE Advanced 2020 Examination, a candidate needs to be among the 2,24,000 present rank holders.

The candidates need to be of age after or on October 1, 1995. Candidates can easily appear for the examination twice a year when it is conducted and the attempt will be taken into account as a single attempt. For those candidates who have appeared in the JEE Advanced 2019 examination, they are also eligible for appearing in the 2020 JEE Advanced examination. 

Candidates will need to keep in mind that they will not be eligible to sit for the JEE Advanced 2020 if their admission at ITTs were cancelled once they have joined any of the institutions.

Documents Required For JEE Advanced 2020
Once the candidates have been selected for the JEE Advanced 2020 Examination, they will need to produce a few documents. These documents will be verified and only then a candidate will be eligible to get admission in one of the institutes. Here are the candidates that will be required - 

Valid and active E-mail Id and Mobile Number of the candidate or guardian
A valid and verified debit/credit card from a recognized bank or Net banking account or UPI or even Paytm Service
Clearly scanned passport sized photograph in either JPG or JPEG format (the size is between 10 kb–200 kb)
Certificate of Class 10th examination
Certificate of Class 12th examination
SC or ST candidates will need to produce their verified caste certificate
Scanned and clear signature in either JPG/JPEG format (the size should be between 4 kb–30 kb)
Domicile Certificate of the candidate
Passport of the candidate if any

Candidates must be well aware of the syllabus of the JEE Advanced 2020. The syllabus is extensive and that is why they will need to study and prepare every topic in a proper and effective manner.
